I’ve been to so many cafes and dessert places over the years that I thought I’d share some of the top ones I’ve been to in Toronto. I blame my sweet tooth for trying almost every dessert cafe I could find. I think I have a second stomach for dessert or something.
Anyway, here’s a list of my top 10 dessert places in Toronto (in no particular order).
Sugar Marmalade
What I like about it: Atmosphere, music, friendly service and affordable price
Favourite dessert: Durian roll supreme (every durian lover’s dream!)
Dazzling Cafe
What I like about it: Lighting, setting, decor and good service
Favourite dessert: Strawberry & Ice cream waffle (picture perfect!)
Cafe Cancan
What I like about it: Setting, atmosphere, decor and friendly service
Favourite dessert: Birthday Éclair (absolutely delectable!)
Petit Potato
What I like about it: Affordable price, atmosphere and variety of options
Favourite dessert: Purple yam waffle
Pastel Creperie & Dessert House
What I like about it: Quality of food, service and atmosphere
Favourite dessert: Sweet potato crepe (looks as good as it tastes)
Capriccio Cafe
What I like about it: Friendly service, atmosphere and dessert options
Favourite dessert: Everything is pretty good there, actually!
Mabu Station
What I like about it: Friendly service, variety of options and atmosphere
Favourite dessert: Marshmallow & Coconut toast
Sweet O’Clock
What I like about it: Setting, affordable price and service
Favourite dessert: Sweet O’Clock signature herbal jelly (hot)
Cafe Princess
What I like about it: Atmosphere, service and cozy seating
Favourite dessert: Princess waffle
Soban Cafe
What I like about it: Music, atmosphere and affordable pricing
Favourite dessert: Oreo brick toast
